A Cold Winter
This winter has been a cold one at TLC. Icicles line the bell tower in front of the school. Students are disheartened at the prospect of having to spend more time inside until the weather warms up again.
Jr. Staff Lounge Update
Jr. Staff were ecstatic when a new gaming system showed up in the lounge. Jr. Staff have an allotment of free time everyday in which they can choose to read, play air hockey or play games. At TLC cadets are taught how to work hard and play hard. Part of the program is teaching students to cope with everyday temptations and make the right choices.
Memorial Day Week
Jr. Staff had the opportunity to serve in the community and learn about our local military heros as they celebrated memorial day week at a veterans home nearby. Students were also able to contribute by raising the flag (see the News section for details).
